The work to this Victorian house in Kew includes a deep extension, enlarging the kitchen/dining space while also providing a new snug and improving the relationship between the rear of the house and the garden.
The extension is conceived as a simple pavilion which, combined with internal alterations to simplify the relationship between the ground floor living areas, provides a clear vista through the house and out to the garden. A new sitting area set at ground level creates a direct step-free link to the garden.
